Music for Programme 7 of Catching the Impossible, a 9-part series produced by Hugh Miles and composed by David Poore, is being recorded at Christchurch Studios, Clifton, Bristol on Wednesday 14th October 2009 by Emerald Ensemble arranged and conducted by William Goodchild.
Lobo - the Wolf that Changed America (BBC Natural World & Thirteen/ WNET New York) has just won an Outstanding Achievement Award at the Jackson Hole International Film Festival (2009). This 50 minute wildlife documentary was produced by Brian Leith, directed by Steve Gooder, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, with music composed and produced by William Goodchild. The film also scooped the Jury's Special Prize at last year's Wildscreen Wildlife and Environmental Film Festival (2008)

Orchestral concert at St. George's Bristol featuring international pianist Penelope Roskell in a performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto no. 24 in C Minor, K.491. Motet entitled Lord, Only in Knowing You for 200 singers SATB and organ composed by William Goodchild for the quincentenary of St. Paul's School. The piece was performed as part of the service which took place at 2.30pm on Thursday 1st October 2009. The piece will be performed again and recorded later in the school year.
